Sorry to restart this blog and then to leave you all hanging, but for the last week or so about all I was making was chemistry my bitch (see below).
I'm getting back on the wagon, though! Here's a photo of my delicious dinner: spinach tortellini, spicy chicken sausage, and broccoli rabe (which I pronounce broccoli Robby in honor of my roomie who loves the stuff).

Project 365: Day 283
Friday: simple, but effective. Place cards for an unusually large Reis-Dinner. Please note the misspelt French exchange student (QuentIn), the easily spelt French exchange student (Ken), and the no-show (Leeann). Samari, you were missed!
Other things I made today include broccoli, a journal entry (witty, yet confidential, sorry), and friends with three adorable children.

Project 365: Day 282
Thursday's project: needle point! I still have more to do than I can possibly finish tonight, but I've made some headway!
This is from William Morris's "Strawberry Theif" print. I bought the kit to make it at Kelmscott Manor, William Morris's self-designed home, on a lovely Summer's day in 2005. I have been working on this off and on since then. Any suggestions on what I should do with it when it's finished?

Project 365: Day 281
Wednesday: A charcoal sketch that I may turn into a (LARGE) painting (stay tuned!). This is from this photo, btw.
BONUS: it's been a while since i've gotten charcoal on my face.
Project 365: Day 280
After 200 days away from this project, I'm coming back but with a new purpose. My hard drive is way too full for new pictures everyday (the reason I stopped in the first place) and I no longer have art classes to keep me creatively active. So my new project is to create something every day. No other rules, really. It might be food, or a drawing, or something I've written. Despite having skipped a couple hundred days, I still plan on ending this right around Becky's wedding.
So my Tuesday night project: a different blog post
